Gospel Life Fellowship, the English-speaking congregation of the Korean Presbyterian Church of Baltimore (KPCB), is seeking a spiritually mature, faithful, and relational Full-Time EM & Youth Pastor.
Our church is located in Lutherville, Maryland, and our English ministry currently consists of approximately 40 adults and 15 youth. (For more about our English congregation, Gospel Life Fellowship, visit gospellifemd.org)
We are seeking a pastor who will faithfully shepherd our congregation, disciple the next generation, develop lay leaders, and work collaboratively with the KM Senior Pastor to build a healthy, unified, and multi-generational church family.
1. Primary Responsibilities
1) EM Ministry
– Preach and teach regularly during Sunday worship.
– Shepherd and disciple the EM adult congregation.
– Develop and equip lay leaders for ministry.
– Foster a healthy and welcoming community centered on the Gospel.
2) Youth Ministry
– Shepherd and disciple youth students.
– Coordinate Friday and Sunday youth programs.
– Mentor and equip youth ministry teachers and volunteers.
– Cultivate a Christ-centered environment where students can grow in faith and fellowship.
3) Pastoral Collaboration
– Support the KM Senior Pastor and work closely with him in carrying out the church’s spiritual vision and ministry direction.
– Encourage healthy communication and collaboration between the English and Korean ministries.
– Help foster a unified, healthy, and multi-generational church family.
2. Qualifications
1) Education:
M.Div. degree from an accredited seminary.
2) Theology:
Committed to conservative Reformed theology and in substantial agreement with the theological convictions of the KAPC. Candidates from other conservative denominations who share these convictions are welcome to apply, with the requirement to transfer membership to the KAPC upon hiring.
3) Experience:
At least 3 years of pastoral experience in an English-speaking ministry context.
4) Character:
Demonstrates spiritual maturity, humility, integrity, emotional maturity, and a genuine heart for people.
3. Compensation & Benefits
1) Compensation:
$60,000 annually
2) Vacation:
2 weeks of paid vacation.
